The training provided by EU-SAM ensure you develop depth knowledge and skills needed for a Security Analyst working with a Security Operations Centre (SOC) team.

You will gain the core skills needed for monitoring, detecting, investigating, analysing, and responding to security events that will enable you to protect systems and organisations from cyber security risks, threat, and vulnerability. 

EU-SAM will enable you to demonstrate hands-on skills that will develop specialised skills intended for the roles, and the responsibilities of a Security  Analyst working in a Security Operation Centre.  Furthermore, you will be assessed by checking your understanding through Live based activities, lab simulations, assessments/quizzes, and a final exam. 

This course aligns with the following certifications:

  • Cisco Certificate CyberOps Associate (200-201 CBROPS) certificate.

  • Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) in Cyber Security certificate.

You will gain the core skills needed to be proficient in the art of scoping, executing, and reporting on vulnerability assessments while recommending mitigation strategies.

With EU-SAM you will be able to implement security controls and monitor, analyse, and respond to current security threats.

You will demonstrate hands-on skills that will develop specialised skills to successfully handle the tasks, duties and responsibilities of a Security Analyst working in a Security Operation Centre (SOC).

This course is an advanced level with 70 hours study time. Pre-requisite: you should have obtained Cyber Security Essentials certificate  or equivalent.

There are 10 modules and each module depend on the depth of knowledge and skills needed to master the competencies outlines for this training programme.
